The founding principles of the MAGVIEW product line were to create a hassle-free, universal digiscoping adaptor that did not require a special or specific phone case to be used. When it comes to ultimate versatility, the standard thin MAGVIEW stainless-steel plate is the best option. However, if you are exclusively using a spotting scope as your digiscoping platform, the self-aligning SYNC disc makes things even easier.
How it Works
- Seamless Integration: The SYNC disc is designed to attach directly to any MagView S1 or S1 Mini spotting scope adaptor.
- Magnetic Precision: Just like the magnets built into the S1 & S1 Mini adaptors that hold your phone, the SYNC disc utilizes powerful, precisely positioned rare earth magnets to automatically align your phone camera with the spotting scope eyepiece.
- Low Profile: The SYNC disc manages to auto-align your smartphone camera using powerful magnets all while remaining very sleek and low profile. The SYNC disc is remarkably thin at .14” or 3.5mm thick.
- Universal: Like the standard stainless-steel MAGVIEW plate, the SYNC disc does not require a special case. It attaches to your existing phone case, or directly to your phone using a strong adhesive.

What if You Already Own a MAGVIEW S1 or S1 Mini?
Good news, the SYNC disc is backward compatible. If you already own a MAGVIEW S1 or S1 Mini, all you need is the SYNC Phone Plate, follow the installation instructions and you are off to the races. One thing to note is while the SYNC disc works with any S1 or S1 Mini, there is a specific alignment disc used for installation depending on which model you have, so be sure to select the correct option in the product drop down list when shopping.
